Carol is a freelance Associate Director for the North. Her role at Creative UK is to provide overall strategic guidance, leadership and management/development of key partnerships focusing primarily on the North of England, alongside national opportunities to help to ensure a positive future for the creative sector, its businesses and the people who work within it. 

Throughout her career she has developed and delivered many complex capital and revenue cultural placemaking programmes. Her work has resulted in significant investment, providing sustainability and growth for many creative sector businesses and strategic organisations. Carol was identified by Arts Council England as one of the top 100 'Women to Watch'  and was awarded an OBE in the 2019 for services to the creative sector across the North of England.
