Field Music & Jonathan Weston

Paint the Town in Sound II

Bio - Field Music

For two decades, brothers Peter and David Brewis have been making and releasing records as Field Music, as well as lending their skills and time to countless projects within the North East’s musical community.

Their combined discography now includes 21 albums, all of which were self-produced at their own studio space in Sunderland. Their artwork and videos have seen them collaborate with many acclaimed artists, photographers and film-makers with strong North East connections, such as Susie Green, Andy Martin, Illana Mitchell, Heather Chambers, Paul Summers, Graeme Hopper, Barney Britton, Ian West and Steven Boyle.

Utilising touring guitarist Kevin Dosdale's skills as a designer and animator, they've also created artwork and videos entirely in-house. Their most recent album Limits of Language was released in October 2024.
