Jorden Lacey
Jorden is the Director of Business Development and a member of the Polymers Leadership Team for Viridor Polymers, a division of the Viridor Group. He joined Viridor in January 2022, following 15 years in Investment Banking and M&A, focused principally on Power, Energy and Infrastructure, and has since contributed to Viridor’s growth and diversification strategy.
This included the recent acquisition of Quantafuel, a leading advanced chemical polymer recycling company.
Quantafuel is currently actively developing a project on a site at the Port of Sunderland, in addition to a number of other projects on a global basis. This project will address hard-to-recycle polymers, particularly film materials, which are often disposed of in household waste resulting in their incineration in Energy Recovery facilities or as Refuse Derived Fuels, providing a solution for the polymer to be recycled and re-enter consumer packaging use.
