Bio

Kaoru Tanaka is a generative artist based in Japan.  She creates installations and art using real-time rendering with TouchDesigner.  She expresses herself based on the inspirations of her daily life, dreams, and fantasies that surround her in her daily experimentation and production.

Synopsis

'Islands' is a generative art piece featuring vibrant, continuous shapes and the interaction of small dots. The dots, though seemingly isolated, constantly change their relationship with their surroundings, moving apart and coming back together like islands. This piece visually explores the beauty of ever-changing states over time and the delicate balance between independent entities.
