Head of Environmental Sustainability, University of Sunderland

Whilst completing an Environmental Management degree at Northumbria University, Keith developed a particular interest in Climate Change and renewable energy. Following his degree Keith worked for Stockton on Tees Borough Council whilst completing a PGdip in Architecture: Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies, before moving to Durham County Council where he developed their first Carbon Management Plan and strategies.

After nine years working in local authorities, Keith moved to Northumbria University as Carbon Manager, developing their Carbon Management Plan and Net Zero strategy and delivering a wide range of energy and carbon reduction projects over eight years.

In June 2023 Keith moved to the University of Sunderland to take on the role of Head of Environmental Sustainability.
