Richard is the Council’s City Development Technical and Operations Manager, helping to oversee and coordinate the delivery of a large portfolio of development projects in a variety of sectors across the city and namely Riverside Sunderland, for example City Hall, Culture House and HICSA.

Richard has 20 years’ experience of regeneration and development in Local Government with a proven track record in the successful delivery of multiple regeneration developments, across sectors, differing scales, and complexities – motivated by providing a lasting legacy.
