Sarah is leading on the event programme which will feature events, activations and experiences. Sarah will be looking to engage residents, businesses and government in new and sustainable ways of living, set in and around new high quality homes for the city centre.

Sarah is a seasoned event project director who has spent the last 12 years leading major not-for-profit event initiatives, driving meaningful sales and managing the regional facilities and stakeholder relationships for the largest and oldest trade association in the global energy industry. Sarah gained 14 years’ commercial experience and temporary structures knowledge in exhibition contracting, based at the National Exhibition Centre previously.

Located in Sunderland since 2008, Sarah brings with her a passion for design, sustainable living and the circular economy with ambitions to develop and bring together the local community and establish an exhibition industry as a new opportunity in Sunderland through her role as Event Director for Expo.
