A lifelong supporter of the club, Steve Davison is responsible for spearheading SAFC’s business operations, overseeing and leading all non-football related functions at the Stadium of Light.  Steve was born in Sunderland and moved to Hertfordshire at the age of 4.  Steve after leaving school went to Durham University to study Maths.

His arrival back on Wearside follows a 35-year tenure at the UK’s leading engineering consultancy company, Atkins, during which time he served in a number of senior positions, including Director of Operations. 

Prior to joining the globally renowned design, engineering and project management consultancy firm, Davison worked for Rolls Royce and prior to that studied Mathematics at Durham University.

Throughout his career, he has specialised in business improvement and innovation.  Most recently he led Atkins’ drive to embrace data and technology for long term business benefit.
