WOA is an international studio based in Milan that specialises in exploring the integration of new technologies to foster connections and encourage deep reflection on the interplay between humans and technology.

The studio is known for creating art installations, interactive performances, and immersive experiences, all aimed at delving into the consequences of digital advancement, changing habits, and the evolving aesthetics of our society.

Having participated in numerous festivals and exhibitions, WOA has made its mark in events such as the Bright Festival, Farnesina Digital Art Experience, the 60th Anniversary of Salone del Mobile Milano, Culturare, Patchlab Digital Art Festival, and Cidneon International Light Festival.

The studio's excellence in merging art and technology was recognized when it was awarded as the Best Art and Technology Studio in Italy at the Videocittà Awards 2023.

Synopsis

FALLIN SKY:  Since the dawn of time, our ancestors have looked up and gazed at the stars for signs and answers. The skies we have watched for centuries have now changed, preserving their enchantment but denying us our desires. Our planet is now surrounded by debris: abandoned satellites, remnants of space probes, and orbital garbage. What we often mistake for falling stars is actually debris burning as it enters Earth's atmosphere.

DIGITAL HUMANISM:  Digital Humanism is a digital art piece created using an artificial intelligence algorithm. It features a series of faces randomly collected from classical works of art and processed digitally.  This transformation blends traditional art with modern technology, offering an interesting visual experience.
